On jouera avec Fréd et Thomas ce vendredi 22 janvier au Bab-Ilo. Ce trio est inédit mais j’ai joué déjà avec chacun des deux dans d’autre formation. J’ai mis disponible un extrait du concert avec Steve Dalachinsky et Rasul Siddik sur la page de musique dans le quel Fréd est venu jouer au 2ème partie du concert.
Le lien et en bas. C’était à travers Thomas et avec lui que j’ai rencontré et joué avec ce même Steve.

I'll be playing with Frédéric Maintentant - piano and Thomas Kpade - cello at the Bab-Ilo. This is a 1st for this formation, though I have worked with both in other situations.

Fréd played the 2nd set with the poet Steve Dalachinsky and Rasul Siddik. I've put an excerpt of that concert on the music page : http://aldridgehansberrymusic.blogspot.com , have a listen. And by the way, it was through and with Thomas that I first played with Steve. I have no audio record of the performances.

samedi 13 fev -  'hot chills' jouera dans le manifestation 'Hommage à Dan Vimard' des Ateliers Kaléidoscope Bleu. Cet événement se déroulera toute la journée et l'entrée est libre.

13 février Hommage à Dan Vimard, l’homme des multiples talents (écrivain, metteur en scène, acteur, peintre, graphiste, parmi les quels je connais) qui a nous quitter le 7 février 2009.  Il était aussi pour moi un grand ami. Un programme se déroulera l’après-midi jusqu’au soir. Le groupe ‘hot chills’ donc je suis membre jouera et je participerai dans d’autre manifestations durant la journée. Plus d’information plus tard.
Entrée libre.

Au cours du mois de février, je jouerai la musique improvisée en trio avec Frédéric Maintenant et Pascal Marzan au Bab-Ilo. La date est à préciser.

 Feb. 13th, a homage to a real ‘Renaissance’ man, Dan Vimard, a man of extraordinary talent in several areas (writing, directing, acting, lightning design, painting, and multimedia – that I know of ). I will participate within the group ‘hot chills’ (that hasn’t performed together in some time now) as well interacting with members of the troupe ‘Kaleidoscope Bleu’ and other musical formations.
Dan was a stellar artist and a great friend.

This event is FREE.
